Tom, fourth of five children, was raised in San Francisco, graduated from Washington High School, attended UC Berkeley and did his graduate work in Educationat UCLA. With his daughter Alexis residing in Portland, Oregon, he now inhabits an empty nest in Ross, CA.

Tom has listed, sold and purchased numerous probate, trust and conservatorship properties. He has personally owned and renovated eight properties in west Marin, including The Poet’s Loft, Kaizen, and Dancing Coyote Beach, a bed and breakfast.
FUN
An active mountain biker, avid gardener, scuba diver, hiker and traveler, Tom is known as the “literati Realtor.” He wrote the weekly Marin Independent Journal real estate column for twelve years, is the founder of an all male book group and is co-authoring a contemporary novel entitled Men In Their Prime with award-winning novelist Marianne Rogoff.
